In 4 months and 7 days,
this little girl...
will be donning cap and gown
and graduating high school.
I miss that little girl
but I love
the young woman she is becoming.
My heart swells with pride
while a piece of it breaks
of days quickly passing by.
My baby, you'll always be.

I always tell young parents to enjoy every moment, because they go so fast.
Some days I would give anything to have just one more day with those younger days.
I will admit it is wonderful to have an adult daughter...
They do grow up and will sprout wings one day. How proud you must be of your children.
