You arrived this morning to take me away...
I climbed within your whispy curls...
and you gently carried me off to autumn skies.
Clouds that are whiter than white and a sky that is bluer than blue...
Autumn's crispness nips at my ears and nose,
as you carry me higher and higher.
You whisper sweet sounds in my ear,
lovingly persuading me to bid farewell to summer and to remember,
that fall offers it's own beauty.
I am no longer kicking and sceaming, seduced by your promises of fires, apples and the sweet smell of autumns entrance.

What a lovely post and those clouds are wonderful. We have had a lovely day here after all the storms. The sun was shining and we had blue skys. Lovely!!
Those clouds are beautiful, Jill! :) We went right from 80 degrees, hot steady humid sun to 58 degrees, dreary and gray.

I love the crispness of fall, the smell of the leaves and especially trips to the Farmer's Market to see all the fall veggies and pumpkin displays.
