Initially,
it sounded like a great idea...
walk the huge rocks
out to another
"Seagull Island."
It's a place to observe
the not so friendly gulls
guard their young and/or nests.
Upon closer inspection,
it was noted that at times,
there were huge gaps between the rocks.
One wrong move...
and you could end up in Lake Superior
or worse yet, stuck between the rocks.
Not for this faint of heart woman.
I sure enjoyed the view though!

Faint of heart , maybe, but beautiful pictures. Those rocks do look treacherous.
Your photos are beautiful.

It is a gorgeous view!
A smart move on your part Jill. I too love that spectacular view!
Happy days to you~:)
Looks dangerous...nice views though.
definitely rugged!
Leave that fun for the "young" ones!! I like your view!!
That would not be a good thing to slip and fall between the rocks and get stuck. Reminded me of the movie where the guy gets his arm stuck and cut it off with his own pocket knife. Scary. But what a beautiful view. Definitely worth risking for. TFS. ana
That view is beautiful! Love the blue shades of the water!
Smart move to stay off the jagged rocks. I wish I could put my tootsies in that cool water. It's a hot day here in south Texas.
That is a rugged looking path. I don't think I would have tried it either, especially after having broken my foot so recently! :-)
Gorgeous views--the blues are just stunning!
Yep, that would hurt! Beautiful photos!
Great view! But I am cautious over rocks nowadays after hurting my back and arm a year ago. :)
I would of done the same thing. Who couldn't resist lovely view
