My 2012

There were storms...

and there was peace.

There were flowers...

and creatures all around.
This one needed saving.

Sandhill cranes...

a not so friendly snapping turtle.

There were barns...

and wonder.

And beautiful colors.

A graduation...

First love...

a new job, luandry, cooking, cleaning and shopping.
All the things that our lives are made up of.

And then there was this....

A needless, sad tragedy:

Photos of only a few of the sweet, beautiful lives taken too soon and so unnecessarily.
I have done my 26 Acts of Kindness in their memory.

I hope to do many more in 2013.

I wish peace for the world.
I pray for no more tradegies.
I wish you all, peace, love and joy.
And most of all,
I hope you live each day
like it is your last.

Happy New Year.
My wife and I live on a small farm in rural Alabama. Our barn looked a little like the one at the top of your blog, but last year, I rebuilt it and made it solid again.
I love sitting in the hay loft and dangling my feet out the window. I can see live more clearly from there.
You're latest follower.

That's a nice recap!

Those sweet children - thank you for posting their photos. So heartbreaking to think that someone could be so evil to take them away from their lives, their future, their parents, and everyone who loves them.
