Slow Down...

 ...you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

Hello lamppost,
What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.

Got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.

Let's all take a tip from my friend
and slow down to enjoy
the weekend!

Oh what a great way to start my morning. You do know now that song is in my head it will be heard all through the bush today as I sing it to frighten the bears away while checking the cows. "Feelin Groovy" Thanks Jill :) B

Love the song lyrics and the pics. We ate at a diner this week and I enjoyed hearing all the songs from long ago - including Petula Clark and "Downtown!"
Wishing you a nice weekend, Jill.
