Who Am I?

I'm not too sure right now.

You see,
it's almost here.
Prom-2012

Yesterday, I filled the truck with gas
and went through the car wash.
Prepared to chauffeur
Becky where she needs
to go.

Later today:
Shave and primp.
Why I feel the need to primp for sitting in the car for 3.5 hours
is unknown but something I must do.

This evening:
Primp.
Her, not me.
Need to do her fingernails
(toes are done),
shave, bath, blah, blah, blah.

Here's our schedule for tomorrow:
8:30 a.m.  We'll be picked up by her friend and her Mom
to be whisked away for their up-dos.
11:15 a.m.  Another friend will meet the four of us for what
I hope is a leisurely lunch.
1:00 p.m.  Return home.
1:00-2:45 p.m. Primp, dress and primp some more.
3:00 p.m.  Meet other friends for pictures at the river.
4:00 p.m.  Go to school for official Prom portraits.
4:30-5:15 p.m.  Grand March
5:45 p.m.  Arrive at Prom location
Drop the Princess off.
(You read that right.  DROP HER OFF.
Parents are NOT allowed to set a foot in the premises
per the little Napoleon that runs the whole thing).
6:00 p.m.  Dinner with a friend.
7:00 p.m.  Sit in the car,
in the parking lot.
Play cards.
10:30 p.m.  Pick the Princess up.
11:00 p.m.  Return Home.
Midnight:  Collapse

Please note:  I did NOT mention drinking once.  Not once!
I can do this.
It WILL be fun!

Thank you to TxWisGirl . She has once again solved my blogger problems.
Now I hope I can navigate my way around the other areas of the internet.;)

Hey Jill. I know what you are going through. Been their done that twice. Luckily the second time I rented a hotel at the same place it was being held at as a surprise to my daughter.
You will be so busy that next thing you know its over and you will ask where the time went.
I hope Becky has a great time.
