Edit This...or That...or Me!

This is a whining post.
It's also a must-do post.

I have the new blogger interface.
I'm struggling with it.
Half of my tool bar is cut off.
When I try to edit
correct my mistakes,
I'm not allowed to do so.
My screen just sits there!
Can't scroll up.
Can't scroll down.
I sometimes mutter
some not very just things
under my breath.

I've tried it with Google Plus.
I've tried it without Google Plus.
I've updated everything
I know how to update.

If I want to go back up to
add a word,
it won't let me.
If I want to go up to delete a word,
it won't let me.

UGH!
I'm sorry for my
mistakes.
I make a lot
of 'em.
I NEED to be
able to EDIT.

Maybe it's a sign.
Maybe it's time
to stop blogging.

Somedays,
I just hate my computer.
No, I take that back.
I hate me.
I'm such a computer dummy!

Hope you're all having
a better time with
the changes than I am.
I'm sure you are.
You're all so MUCH
smarter then me!
=)

Oh, Jill. I am having the same problems at times and so are others I have asked. It's not you. Don't worry it will all be fixed in the end.
You can't stop blogging. I look forward to your daily post. That would be a bummer.

Oh no! I better write a whole bunch of posts now before Blogger makes me switch over. I am terrified now! I hope it gets easier. Hopefully if enough folks complain, Blogger will take note and revise some features. Don't stop blogging!!! I'd miss your posts terribly.

I've been using the new interface for awhile. It ain't you. It has it's moments but, fixes itself. Some days it won't allow pic uploads or edits. My hardest part with it was finding where everything went. ;)

Oh, honey -- I share your pain. I think we all do! Don't you dare stop blogging. I would miss you too much. Hang in there. I think it will get better soon. xoxo

In the middle of writing a post the other night, IT switched ME. Or something happened. Changes like that make me say . . . "maybe my time/energy needs to be some place else.". I figure if I have a good thing going, why change it! And when someone else is changing me without warning, makes me angry. I can rant too . . . (can't I?)

I don't think I have the new interface because I'm not having any problems! Sorry it's been so hard for you. I can imagine your frustration but do not give up!!! I will put up with your spelling mistakes! I will understand!! Enjoy your weekend!

I use to switch back and forth between the old and the new interface... I like the old best for photos. Not experiencing any problems though...

Don't hate yourself, working with computers and programs is difficult at best. My son is a programmer, and believe me they don't think like a regular person. So unfortunately some programs are not as user friendly as they should be.

Nooooooooo! Don't stop blogging!!!

I'm not sure what people are talking about when they talk about blogger's new interface. Everything seems the same to me. What am I missing?! Have I been left out of world dominion activities? Now I'm paranoid.

no, no, NO don't stop blogging!

just a thought - what ISP do you use? if you use Internet Explorer, try downloading Google Chrome and using that w/ blogger. i had had some issues between I.E. and Blogger a few months ago. switching to Chrome solved it for me and everything plays happily together, now.

Jill I 'think' (operative word as sometimes thinking gets me in trouble) that the interface works best with Google Chrome. At least when I switched I was told Google no longer supported Internet Explorer and I would need to use Google Chrome. I did and have not had any problems and can do everything we could do before the new interface. I hope this works 'cause we don't want you to quit blogging.

Oh sweetie, your posts are always fabulous!... I am not going to use the new blogger thing, as I don't like changes... can you possibly switch to a new blog and transfer everything over, making it on the old blogger style? I am a dummy about computers, so I can't offer any other suggestions?... xoxo Julie Marie PS Thank you SO much for your sweet comments today!!!

Oh no, Jill, you do such a great job with your blog! Keep on keepin' on!

I am just now catching up with everyone. I have not had any problems except with those who couldn't comment. I'm not a person who likes change and something is always changing on computers. Bonnie

My Blog updated before - I don't know why, but when they first announced there was going to be a change, my computer decided to do it months ago.

(I probably hit a button when I shouldn't have! And you think you're a computer dummy? If it wasn't for me being able to yell "HONEY" my computer would be in the middle of the street at least a gazillion times by now!)

My problem is, I haven't been able to load photos on FireFox - I have to log out, log in the Internet Explorer and do my blogs from there. Which is fine when I'm home. For some silly reason, when I was away visiting, my computer had a brain fart and would upload one silly photo! So, I waited until today, home - children gone home. Just me, my Sweetie and the computers. And, up it went.

STILL CANNOT LOAD PHOTOS ON FIREFOX HOWEVER!! Really aggravating! If you hear of any help on this issue, Jill, let me know?

Blessings, my friend!
