One last note
about our
girl weekend
away.
I did learn something
while we were away.
The following photo
provides the proof.
I can't help it.
This sign just cracked me up!
I had a few questions on the henna tats so
I'll try to answer them.
1) When the henna is applied, it is like
a wax. This must remain on the skin
for 6-8 hours. Apparently,
the longer is stays on,
the darker the tat will be.
Once the time is up,
you wash off or scrape off the coating.
2) YES! They are temporary.
They are expected to last any where
from 1-4 weeks.
Applying olive oil to the tat
before and after a shower is a must.
3) They offered a huge
book of design choices.
Average prices seemed
to be in a range
from $20-$50.
There ya have it!
All I know about
henna tattoos.
If you ever get one,
I'd sure love to see it!

No, I never did get one, wish I had, but I am really a penny pinching old fool. I think they are lovely!
I got a henna tattoo in Venice Beach about 8 years ago. They're fun!
everything we needed to know. i think it's a good way to "try out" ink and see if it might be right for you....before taking the actual plunge!!
i plunged without it and i love mine!!!
Cute sign - I'm all for anything that brings a smile or a giggle!
FUNNY sign!
I got a henna tattoo on my foot a few years ago..I'll look for the pics!

It is so pretty I'm glad to know you will have it for a while.

Haha! I like that sign, Jill!
I've missed the series of posts about the girl weekend getaway - I'll have to catch up reading them when I get home this evening!
Laughed at that sign. Henna tattoos are lovely I think quite elegant.
I'm here from Raindrops and Daisies and now I see a lot of my other friends. Love your sense of humor!
Never had one but thanks for the tips!
Love the Sign too!!Hahaaaa
hughugs
Someone had a good sense of humor when they posted that sign.
Ha ha, that sign is so funny!
Interesting info about the henna. I didn't realise it lasted that long.
Finally making my way over for a visit (I know, I know, I'm a bad blogger!)
I've been to the Renaissance Festival once (many, many moons ago) and loved it! Would love to go again. (note to self - put that on your "to do" list!)
Also, love all the info on the henna "tats" - I'm too chicken (not to mention I change my mind a lot) to get a real one; this would be right up my alley for a fun thing to do!
Many, many thanks for stopping by and following. I will be back - I promise!
LOL .... great sign!
Are you hoping to get a tattoo someday? Meanwhile you wantthe henna because it isn't forever? Tattoo's are so popular these days. I think people should have choices if they want one. My only thing is I hate seeing the really bad ones. Art that doesn't look like what it is suppose to be. There may be regrets down the road. I do not have a art tattoo, but I do have my eyeliner put on upper and lower lids. Did this 15 years ago. No regrets so far, my vision so poor that I wanted it on all the time and not dripping down my face. Your weekend sounded really fun. Good to get away with the girls.
I'd say it's a good investment. Many things costing alot more don't last as long. :)
