They think that if they hold still, you can't see them...silly squirrel :)Like your new look!
I can't believe how many squirrels you have. I wish I could see one around here. Unless I go to a near park, there are none here. Maybe they don't come by because of my dog Roscoe. Enjoy your birds, squirrels and any other critters that decide to stop by. Now with the cranberries, who knows which others will visit. Have a wonderful friday Jill.
Squirrels have a fantastic appetite!
Dried cranberries!? You are so generous. I hope they're saying thanks at least :-)
You need some cats to scare them away! Great pics!
I would love to experiment with food for the feeders, but I don't know if I have picky eaters:)
I happily feed the squirrels! :-)
i had this squirrel once that i got to take peanuts out of the palm of my hand. after a few months, the little rodent was literally scratching at my door to be fed! what nerve!!!thank you so much for stopping by my blog and your sweet comment. looking forward to see you again soon.hugs :)
oh, neat! cornmeal and p.b. must be GREAT, then throw in some 'granola berries'. :)
Morning Ms. Jill...mom and I think the new word verification is absolutely hateful we detest it too!!! Mom says it actually hurts her eyes. We 100% agree with your post yesterday!!Mr. Squirrel best be on his p's and q's and not be a hog with that yummy sounding suet...do you have recipe? If so could you send it to Mom in an email?Hugs Madi
Think I'll try the peanut butter & cornmeal!!Thanks Girl!hughugs
My mom, in all her years of wisdom, thought if she gave the squirrels their own food, they'd leave the feeder alone. Now, she lives in a track home, so feeding them and keeping them in the neighborhood is not a welcomed idea. She would get stale bread from the Senior Center and feed them in an old Webber BBQ - PROBLEMS?? You ask? Yes - oh yes - they didn't just want the stinking bread, after all, no peanut butter, and no dried cranberries! They got up in the feeder and would scatter all the food out for sandwich filler!Squirrels!Hugs, Donna
I know the squirrels get more than the birds from the feeders at my house.
Trixie is outside barking right now and it is the "I have a squirrel up this tree, come get it" bark/ha
What a cutie ^_^ but they do seem to take it all don't they?! Have a fantastic weekend!Eva
Well, you already know I think the little fellow is really really cute. Hugs, Bonnie
Peanut butter? Watch out I might be there next...lolIsn't it funny how they hold still and think you don't see them?

Me again....I was out shopping this afternoon and saw a squirrel statue and thought of you and your buddies!!! Too bad I did not have my camera.
my smart husband tried for 5 yrs to outsmart the squirrels...never could!! they won !
Is there anything birds eat that squirrels don't? You should do a study.
