hey, you have been changing up the blog. awesome look!! wow, joy ... what does it look like. that is big ... i feel what makes you happy, the small things in life that bring a smile to your face. kids being silly. a joke from a friend. spending time with your family & friends. a letter from some one. so many things. back from a camping adventure. so i'm commenting more. hope you are good. big hugs. (:
Hard to put into words! Joy is the peace of knowing that the Lord is with us always. My JOY has been huge since John's surgery and I thank you and all my blog friends for your faithful prayers.
What does joy look like? This morning on my way to my daughters to take care of the dogs, a mother and her babe standing at the woods edge. Snickers rolling over on her back for a tummy rub. Long philosophical discussions with my friends. Quiet evening time with my husband when we are reading, Looking out the kitchen window and watching the birds. Smelling fall in the air. Line dried sheets on the bed. Chocolate covered pecans. Grandsons telling me "I rock" in making good soup and dinners for them. My grown up kids still telling me they like me . . . the list is endless . . .
Good question, Jill. You didn't exactly ask where it comes from, but my answer is going to be - my joy comes from service to my heavenly father & and my little family in these four walls most of all, but I choose to see joy everywhere I look.
Well well Ms Jill that is an interesting question. Mom's joy cannot be seen but she said her joy is found in simple things, good health, cool breezes, good food, love of God and family.
As for me...you can see mine...my joy is a bowl full of kibble, Fancy Feast and free flowing water. Hugs Madi and Mom
If I had to describe my joy, it would look like millions of soap bubbles floating through the sky. It would sound like the laughter of small children and it would taste sweeter than sugar.
Well today it happened in 3 ways......I saw two new birds that I've never seen in my life and met a blogger who made my day! That was my joy for today.

Today my joy is resting and catching up with my cyber community. Have a wonderful Sunday. Bonnie
I am happy to be in my own home today without a doctor or nurse talking to me.

Well, that's pretty joyful, Jill :)Lovely thought for a Sunday.
Joy?
A nap...
God and Nature. Quiet times.
Petting my cat.
the easiest answer for me is the faces of my dogs. :)
We are going to take Andy to the park to run off some energy.
My Joy is in the Lord. He has provided me with all I need.
