Quickie Dinner Idea

Years ago,  a dear friend of mine shared her recipe for Pizza Burgers.
I love to make a ton of these and stick them in the freezer for nights I don't feel like cooking.

I hope you try them and enjoy them.
Mine are never quite as good as Terri's but they will do!

I love to stock up on English muffins when they are on sale (which happens often at my local grocery store).

Spilt them and place them on a cookie sheet.
Brush the tops with melted butter (sounds good already doesn't it?) ha!

Toast them under the broiler or toaster oven until brown (both sides).
Spread each muffin with Cheese Whiz.

Brown 1 pound of hamburger and stir in pizza sauce.
Spoon a tablespoon or so of the hamburger mixture onto each muffin.

Top with mozzarella.

Now here's the fun part.
Place the  cookie sheet in the freezer and let set for about
20 minutes.  Move the pizza burgers to a container for freezing.
When you're ready to eat them,
preheat your oven to 450 and bake until hot and the cheese has melted.

Bon Appetite!
I discovered something else today that I'd like to share.
You know those annoying, plastic bread clips that seem to be so abundant?

They make great pan scrubbers and they are free!

P.S.  I apologize for the blurry areas on my photos...I guess I need to clean my camera lens!

Jim will love these! Do they heat up well in the microwave. They would be great for his lunches if they do. I am gong to tell Jill Godsey about them too. Thanks for the idea.
