I'm preparing to move.
I'm not sure where.
Someplace smaller,
I guess.
Not something I really want to do.
I feel I need to do it.
I hope I can go through with it.
I don't have a mansion.
Nor a park like yard
as so many do.
But everything I love,
is here.
In my little 2 acre spot.
Deer. Bunnies. Bears.
Eagles. Turtle. Coyotes.
Blue birds. Indigo's. Cardinals.
Just to name a few.
I love my "wild" life.
My Mom lived here.
In her final days.
She died here.
She is still here.
With me.
I'll leave him behind.
My Dear John Deere.
The one I adore.
He's cared for me so.
Lilacs. Hostas. Pampas Grass.
Peonies.
Stargazers. Phlox. Lilies.
Lilacs most of all.
Cool fall nights.
Cracklin' fire in the pit.
Symphony of frogs.
Lightning bugs.
Yeah.
A country girl at heart.
That's me.
Hope the memories will be enough.

Sounds like a difficult journey ahead for you. I had to do something like that not too long ago, it turned out all for the best. Chin up!
oh, sweetie. i'd hate to leave that place, too. bless you...
i doubt you'll have trouble selling it, though. it is a piece of heaven.
Blessings- I hope it will be perfect for you!

Hugs madi and mom
Oh Jill it sounds like a piece of heaven to me. We will be with you holding your hand step by step if you need us I am pretty sure of that. Difficult choices I have no doubt. Take care Hug B
It sounds like this is a difficult time, but you will get through it and be happy.
Decisions, decisions . . . difficult ones. What made you decide and when is this happening?
Thinking of you . . . hold the memories close to heart!
Beautiful memories to always have in your heart, and new memories to make.... still hard!
I felt those same feelings when I moved. I hope it all goes well for you.
I know how you feel. I moved from my home, my first bought on my own home when I got together with my husband and I cried and cried and cried some more. But as we all say, everything happens for a reason.
I am sure God will give you the strength to move on.
Good luck. Ana
I'm sure you have put much thought into this so I think and hope your memories will be enough. Hope all goes smoothly and I'm sure it will.
Gosh Jill, I'm sorry you are moving if it's not something you want to do. Is there any other way? You can take your plants with you. Lilacs usually have babies all around the bottom of them. Dig up a start and take it to your new place. Keep us posted. I hope we can help you through this.

sometimes, change is a good thing!!
It's a hard decision, but sometimes change is a good thing. Good luck
What a big decision! I wish you all the best, Jill.
I'm sorry you have to leave. I hope you find somewhere you love.
