Step Right Up

While walking,
we love to look
for animal prints.

The snow
and mud
made this task an easy one.

Rabbit?

Definately deer
in these two.

That is so cool. I would lveo to be able to see some animal prints around here. We only see dog and cat poop. That makes me so mad. People don't even bother picking it up.
Lets see what you find today on your walk.
Happy tuesday.

Animal and critter track looking is part of my daily walk as well. On fresh snow I like the fine tracks of small birds . . . Lately I have been trying to decipher the differences between racoon and possum tracks. Once again . . . no snow so track looking may have to wait until next year.

Me and The Boy do the same thing! We love finding tracks. I am so glad that at 15 he still likes to walk in the woods with his ole Momma!

Isn't it fun to know you're walking the same path as an animal chose to take?

A fun thing to do. John had a friend who was a trapper and he taught us a lot about detecting tracks. Glad this problem cleared up where I couldn't read your blog or comment. I missed you.

Hello,
I visted your blog today - I saw you on 'Art, Books, Tea.' Your blog is charming, and I have to tell you that your Owl Header caught my eye. It reminds me of my daughter, who is working on her Ph.D. right now. I love owls. Your photos are lovely. I see you like wildlife too. Me and my daughters started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with lots of beautiful pictures. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

Oh, I wanted to come back and tell you that I noticed your post about word verification. I'm so glad to see someone else that doesn't have it on their blog.

I never thought I'd meet another lady, who wasn't a park ranger or such, who liked to do this with the kids! We love going out to look for animal prints! It's the "kid" in me!

Blessings,
Donna
