My late mom lost her sight when I was a child. I am especially grateful to the Lord for the gift of sight and the privilege to share what I saw with her for almost 50 years.
I had seen this commercial and loved it. If only everyone would do something daily to help another, we would definitely be living in a better place. Love it. Love what she did. ANA
this is an engaging video, and i think the message is great: words matter. words can touch others. small changes can be huge in writing, especially within the sentence. the woman was touched with inspiration, and that's gold in the writin' biz. for what it's worth, it's my experience that blind homeless men (becuz, unfortunately, blind homeless women simply cannot survive on the street) are often more in touch with beautiful days than those of us solidly part of the bourgeois. still, that doesn't matter. she was writing to a particular audience and connected. that is the ultimate test for a writer, for sure. great video. i'll be thinking on it today, i'm sure...
