Christmas Cookies

For a few years now,
a good friend of mine
comes out to spend the weekend.
We bake for 2 straight days.

Here are the fruits cookies of our labor.

From top left to bottom right:

Russian Tea Cakes
Spumoni: Log, Sliced and Baked
Ginger Snaps
Spritz: although I forgot to take a picture of the red ones! (can anyone recommend a decent cookie press?  I have 3 and struggle with them all)!
Peanut Butter Blossoms
Snickerdoodles

She has a large family
so she gets most of the goodies.
Our freezers and
families are mighty happy!

Left to do:
Fudge ( my downfall)
and
Sugar Cookies.

OH MY GOSH...MS JILL
are you a professional baker?
The cookies are GORGEOUS and I bet your home smells yummy. My peeps drug a huge green thing in the house yesterday then spent the afternoon trying to make it pretty enough to leave in the house. They could have just left it outside and saved lots of time...just sayin'

As for the fudge, you might try this recipe. It's no-fail. I promise:

Oh, they look very yummy, yummy!! Your family and friends are very lucky to enjoy such delicious cookies! Are all of them typical Christmas cookies?? Each of them must have an interesting story, I guess. I am hungry.
Best wishes,

Oh my, a girl after my own heart! I do the same thing and I'm so glad to see someone else does! Your cookies look really good! Russian Tea Cakes I haven't made for years! I just got a Pampered Chef Cookie Press I hope is good - I will let you know if it is easy after I try it!

I'll bet you and your friend have a blast in the kitchen!

Blessings,
Donna

Your cookies look really good. I saw this press on QVC yesterday that I was so tempted to purchase. It was under $20 and it was ELECTRIC. You could use it as a cookie press but also to decorate. The lady was pushing these cookies out of it so fast and with no problem at all. I have tried a few cookie presses and they always give me a headache. I think I'm going to go look on their website for it. Enjoy your day!

I wondered if we were going to see photos of your sweets. Now, if only George Strait were to come and help, I might take up baking.

They look yummy! I've tried for the past two years to get some of my gal friends together for a cookie baking party, but the weather always cancels it for us! :)
