The Gathering

It all began with
Canada Geese
on parade.

And slowly turned into
what looked like
some gentle water aerobics.

And ended,
with Becky snapping
shots of them
and wishing them
farewell.

  7. I know a lot of people don't like the Canadian Geese, but I do. We have some on our pond. In the fall, it seems like about 50 gather for a reunion, then leave about six behind for the winter. Did you know they mate for life. They do!

Mom says Canada geese of now are from everywhere except Canada ...they are every where they used to leave in the fall but they have decided to become permanent residents of where ever they are.
Very pretty pictures today. Hi to Becky

Mom is having a time with our blog today. We cannot log onto our blog the normal way. We check online evidently the new google is requiring all to have a g mail account to log on. Currently we are going about it in a very long and tedious way.

  9. A peaceful scene indeed. With these three digit temps we're having here I would like to dip my feet in some water like that.

  16. The Canadian geese are just starting to show up here on the reserve we have here on the ranch. In the dead of winter when everything else is froze solid, its the only open water for miles and miles. We get so many geese here that they come right up to the back yard! LOL! The dogs get a little gigity when they get close. :)

  17. Those Canadian Geese don't go back to Canada around here. My husband golfs and he see tons on the courses around here. He says there are too many. Don't get me wrong, HM loves animals, but we are getting over crowded with them. oh no. hahahaha
