Magic in the Night

 

First spotted from the deck,

it beckoned to me.

"Come to me."

So I did.

 

Barefooted.

Surrounded by silence.

 

 

It promised to share

it's mysteries with me.

If I only stopped

to see.

 

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

 

She held me captive,

as she radiated

her magical light.

 

 

 

 

 

She dared me to dance,

this disco ball of night.

She promised me

wishes come true.

 

 

 

 

 

So I danced.

And I wished.

And I dreamt.

 

 

 

 

 

And she lit

up the night.

As well as my heart.
