Too Much Time?

Spring is here.
Well, sort of.
There's still snow on the ground
and it's really gloomy,
but the birds keep telling me
it's spring,
so I will have to agree.

Maybe that's
why I'm in the mood I'm in.
I've got questions.
Do any of you have the same
questions?
Or better yet,
the answers? ;)

1)  Are we ever to old to stop hoping for love?

2)  Are we ever old enough to stop
fighting the battle of the bulge?

3)  Are we ever old enough to stop
acting our age?

4)  Will there ever be enough hours
in a day?

and last but not least....

5)  Why do I subscribe to the Sunday
newspaper when I never have time
to read it?

The good thing about getting older is the only advice and rules you have to listen to is/are your own :) If there's any time to please yourself - the time is now! It's funny that you mention the birds, our spring birds have arrived as well except they forgot to bring spring with them. I wonder if they are as tired of waiting for spring as we are.

I don't subscribe, but we often pick up the Sunday paper to read it. Of course last week I bought one and didn't have time to read it - but at least my husband did!

Dearest Jill, I love these questions and think about them too.

1) I still dream but I don't expect.

2) I don't really worry about that. I guess I should.

3) I like to dream and sometimes forget that I am as old as I am. I am grateful that the Lord gives me the spirit to dream.

4) Even if there were more hours there wouldn't be enough!

5)I feel the same way about the paper. It rarely gets read.

Blessings, Catherine xoxo

Well, Jill. I'm just gonna tell you what I tell my mom because you sound a lot like her.

Never give up on love, it's what gives us something worth fighting for. Never stop fighting for what you want, or you'll never achieve it. Never grow up, otherwise how will you ever have fun in life? And don't wish for any more hours in the day, because then you'll never sleep.

As for the Sunday paper, I just use it to make paper pots for my seedlings...maybe that's why mom never gets to read it :? ;)

Stay strong and never stop believing.

xoxo,
Tammy <3

1. Definitely not!

3. I am a child at heart. :)

I laughed at number 5, because I did the same thing years ago until I finally decided to stop the circulation.

Great post, Jill!

(hey, you asked the questions - i felt i needed to respond. ha. ha!!)

1.never, love is part of who you are. we all wish to be loved, feel love & give love.
we are human. that is human nature.

2.never - i think if you are healthy you wish to be healthy & watch you weight.
exercise & enjoy your days as long as you here. healthy, wealthy & wise.

3.never - i think you can act what age you feel & wish to act. enjoy your life.

4.never - hours go by so quickly. i think you have to look at what is most important
& adjust according. i keep a list of what i wish to do & when i have down time
i get it out & go from there. laundry, groceries, cleaning a bit, all that jazz is
a must but other things come way last. you have to be organized & work well with
what you have.

5.i think you believe you will get to it. does it have coupons? that is a great reason
to get the paper. i miss it. my parents got one when i was there - they still pick
up one once in a while at the gas station. you can read it online. i enjoy holding the paper
makes me feel young & cute. silly but i have fun. ha. ha!! maybe it reminds me of my
childhood. ha. ha!! ( :

Okay... Use the Sunday newspaper like a weight to fight the battle of the bulge then to clean the windows.
Seriously, I wake up 35 then I look in the mirror and just shake my head. What happened to the time?

hi, just found your blog.. interesting questions! I certainly hope not.. would be my answer to all the questions.. apart from the one about will there ever be enough hours in the day... thats a def. No!!! sadly!!! I think a lot of depends on attitude and state of mind. For some people (like my mum unfortunately) she is quite negative and would answer no to everything... But they could def. be turned into yeses if she would let it/make it!! Hope you get the best answers and best outcomes ! nice to meet you!

I love those questions. I always have hope for love. I am trying on my weight! I don't want to act my age. There will never be enough time. And I don't know why you buy the paper - for comfort of some sort? lol sandie
