This is What I"m Talking About!

I had a four day weekend last
week.
I dreamed of sleeping in
and lazy days
with a little catching up thrown in.

As usual, it was a day with the boy
and girl over here for a long
date day, making them supper,
listening to their laughs and music
and first kiss.
Running errands, doing the shopping,
laundry and cleaning with
another date thrown in
at a haunted hayride.
A day spent with a friend.
A weekend whirlwind
of activity.
Over 500 miles on the car in a week.

Four days this week of
that commute that takes too long,
pretty good days at work,
including staying late for a meeting.

Up and at the laundry very early today
and doing odds and ends today,
which includes finishing up some plumpkins,
I took the time to sew this week.

Being up early enough on
this day off to enjoy and appreciate this...

cause it makes it all worth it!

I so know what you are talking about! I think we work harder on the weekends than we do during the week! But, isn't much funner "work"? Rest easy and enjoy the moments!!

Beautiful scene to wake up to. Gorgeous. Atleast you have survived another week. Have fun this weekend and try to get some rest.
We have been having horrible days with Hurricane Sandy coming by. Strong winds and lots and lots of rain. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I am tired of being in the house. I am hoping the day is better tomorrow so that I can go junking.
Have a great weekend. ANA

Beautiful picture! E. and I go out to the bus before the sunrise and I take so many pics of the sunrise. They all look the same! ;) But each day seems more beautiful than the last, so I keep snapping away, can't help myself. We need to keep appreciating the beauty, don't we? ESPECIALLY when your life gets so hectic. Take care, friend.
