Taking Time...

to just breath...

to feel the sun on my face...

 the breeze through my hair...

all in my own backyard.

Today is a gift.
I hope you take the time.

Great advice. I feel like I have been running...and I DO need to rest and breathe in the fresh air. :)

There's something about the sun lighting up those grass tips, you can't help but stop and stare.

Lovely grasses. I too am taking the time. Just came in. Finally stopped raining and the temp is about 70. Nice!

I'm learning! We have a few of these grasses around our back porch and the other day the sun was causing them to create a shadow on our storage shed and it looked like hands praising the Lord. I found the image so amazing, especially when the wind would blow it looked like the "hands" were waving their praises. I need to try and get a photo! Enjoy your day.

I just sat and read your last few posts. I'm behind. I cannot seem to get caught up, but I will tell you that you have calmed my spirit just by reading all you have written. Gosh Jill, your blog is great. Suddenly it is just what I need. So true about what you say will affect someone the rest of their life. And those pumpkins are adorable. I made some last year out of wool and I have some material ready to go for some big ones, if I just get the time to create. Thanks again, wonderful posts.

I literally stop and smell the roses when I go for a walk at a nearby park. They won't last long, but they smell so sweet now!
