Perfect Plumpkins

at least I think so!

My sister has been creating
the most beautiful plumpkins
for many years now.
And yes, they are called plumpkins.
Beautiful fabric pumpkins
adorned with gifts of nature.

I always look forward to filling
my home with them
every fall.
Last Sunday,
she brought her makings with her
and taught my daughter and I
how to make our own.
We spent most of our time watching her
as she created.

Large and plump,
small and plump,
in a shelf or in a cup,
they brighten any room
and make me happy.

What a beautiful time of year!

Oh Jill they look amazing.

I love them.

Are the easy to make?
I would love to try.

Glad that you, your sister and Becky had happy girlie time together.

I love your new header

I was trying to change mine
but couldn't get the size right
and it was all over on the left
not centered the way yours is,
thought I better leave well enough alone or I might do more damage!!!

Have a great week.

How cute. Will you teach us how to do them. Maybe you can do a tutorial. I would love to make some myself so that when I take down all of the Halloween stuff I can put them up since I plan on decorating this year for Thanksgiving.

What a fun craft to make!

Cute! Is there any sewing involved? My mom used to make something like that, but she never used acorns - I love that touch. This looks like something E. and I could do - we're not much for sewing, but we LOVE anything to do with pumpkins:)
