Throwing in the Towel?

Do you ever feel like this?
It seems I'm reading so many blogs
lately where someone is
struggling.

I know I feel like this at times too.
I'm really trying to handle it in one of two ways:
a sense of humor
or
doing something nice for someone else.

Do you have a strategy that works for you?

The older I get,
the more, it seems, I have in common
with Aunty Acid. ;)

Jill I have a lot of ideas and I try and go down the list - but I will tell you that there are times it doesn't work. And i think it is okay. I know eventually I will feel up again - some ho! Hugs.

This really made me laugh. Good one for sure.
The one thing I know is that when I wake up in the morning, I tell myself what can I do today to help someone. I always see that someone else is struggling more than I am. Hope this helps for you. ANA

Oh I hear you Jill, life doesn't always run smoothly does it. I try to keep a sense of humour - sometimes it's not easy though!!!

Boy, oh boy isn't it the truth! Seems like I have one good day to every 3 or 4 crappy days. Your solutions are the best ones, but sometimes I just fail at it all. Then I just go to bed. There is a saying, "The best bridge between despair and happiness is a good nights sleep." I've noticed that it's true for me (sometimes)!

Look to Jesus is all I can say. I've been on a really bad streak lately and if it weren't for Jesus I'd break down.

I'm a big fan of volunteering for community groups and events. Usually working with like-minded people lifts my spirits...but sometimes they can drag you down even further. Pick your volunteerism carefully. ;-))

O Aunt Acid is hilarious. That is how my husband pronounces it but I thought it was because English is his 2nd language to Spanish. so funnnny.

I just try to stay calm and think "everything happens for a reason" .

Dear Jill, I feel that way too. I try to not to think too far into the future and take Scarlett O'Hara's advice, "Ill think about it tomorrow"...one day at a time. Blessings dear. Catherine xo
