I've never had much luck with amaryllis..probably because I water them too much..

Yours is a lovely shade of coral.

Gorgeous . . . is this yours in bloom? Yesterday, mine which was planted December 22nd bent over . . . I think I have watered it too much . . . Oh dear . . . I want what you have . . . mine is supposed to be a solid red . . . I want it to survive for me and to celebrate "heart" day!

Every Birthday my Grandma had, I'd get her an amaryllis. Thanks for the fond memory of her. She rested just shy of her 102nd birthday.

Now, about that brown paper bag...another sweet memory. Mom packed 9 Brown Bag Lunches every day for me and my siblings when we were in school. Sweet Memories.

Nature has the most beautiful colors of all doesn't it? Thanks so much for sharing.
I read your brown bag post yesterday and have thought about it a couple of times today. I like how you think.
