Super Saturday Stunk

How's that for a title? ha!

No super moon for me on Saturday.
We had terrible thunderstorms.
I am happy for those of you that
did get to see it though!

Instead, I have pictures of the sky
and moon from a night last week
that I thought were pretty.

So without further ado,
here they are:

While the moon wasn't blue,
the sky sure was
and I couldn't help but hum one of
my favorite songs...
Blue Moon.

Very nice photos. I fell asleep on Sat. night but the Mr. said the moon did not seem all that big or bright! Hope you have a nice week and a Happy Mother's Day, Jill.

NO moon for us either. I heard others that saw it said it didn't live up to all the hype. So...

We did have a beautiful moon. It seemed to take forever for it to rise. I would love a mild storm or two. They continue to go around us. Oh we do need the rain. Bonnie

Hey Jill. We did see the super moon. I was at the crop when all the girls started to run out and take pictures of the moon. It was gorgeous.
Your pictures are awesome. Love the blue skies through the trees. Great pictures.

Looks pretty inviting to me. I like the composition you set up thru the trees with blue, black, and the white of the moon. Moon photos are hard to do, as is those sunsets and sunrise photos I can't master. As for you this is a lovely set of photos Jill.

Hi Jill,

Your blog looks fantastic at the moment. Love the blue.

It is so long since I visited that I am embarrassed.

Hope the kids are well.

Will try and play catch-up but it will probably take me forever
