Three years ago,
I had a part of my yard where the grass wouldn't grow.
I'd always dreamed of having a fairy garden one day
and decided this shaded area would be a perfect spot.
I began by adding some ground covers
and hostas.
Last year,
I added this arbor
that I made.
The hat on the upper left was added after our treasure hunt last weekend. |
This year, I added this...
The chair and hat are from two different Goodwill stores. The garden rake has been in the family for years. |
Another garage sale find a few years ago. Enough for today. I'll continue the tour tomorrow, if you're interested, please join me. |

Hello Jill... your fairy garden is so enchanted!... love the little arbor you made, wow, you are talented!.. and your old garden claw fits right in, along with all of your other wonderful vintage finds... your fuchsia looks so pretty hanging there... I am sure the little fairies love hiding in it... can't wait for more of the tour... xoxo Julie Marie
A very charming garden, Jill.
I love that little fairy garden. I can't wait to see more.
Jill,
Every day nice things have been added to the shaded area and your yard is being converted to the fairy garden. How nice! You have a green thumb!
Thanks a lot for your lovely tour.

I love being on the tour, so far it is enchanting, such fun uses of things.
Thanks for sharing
looks welcoming. :)
Seems like alot of work but all well worth it. Looks so pretty. I wish our yards here in Miami, Florida could be like that. With all the rain and humidity every piece of furniture or finding would go to waste immediately. But I do not mind at all seeing pictures of your. Can' wait to see the rest of your lovely garden pictures.

Dear Jill,
I love your Fairy Garden! I also love the path arbor you're making from branches! Very creative, giving it such a whimsical feel! The stones in the pathway, are they the ones in the nest post?
I love your shade garden, Jill, and wish I had a place for Hosta plants!
Hugs,
Donna
So well planned and the end result is wonderful.
I really like your repurposed garden items! Shade gardens always look so peaceful and magical. I have lots of hostas, too.
