Oh this is funny. Why do squirrels do this? They do just freeze, and look straight at you as if to say, even to themselves, "be still and she'll think me a tree - I'm part of the tree - nothing to see here - just move on." Funny.

I have that same feeder that I bought from the thrift store -- only my hubby painted it red. I like the green better! Lol.
