Spring in January?

Yesterday's high here in Minnesota
was 52 degrees which shattered records!
I was able to work outside with no coat.
Sure, we've had January thaws
but nothing like this.

The birds enjoyed it too.
Remember the heated dog water dish I got
a few months back?
Birds have been loving it
but it was the goldfinch that dominated it
yesterday.

"Mmm...tastes pretty good!"

"Lady, do you mind?  I'm trying to get a drink here."

"Look out below! I'm coming in for a landing!"

"Geez, where'd he go?"

"Little bird, he left
just like this
temporary spring of ours has.
Our high today is to be
34 and our
'high'
for Thurday
is supposed to be 10 degrees."

*sigh*
It was fun while it lasted!

Enjoy your warm 50 degrees, the best is yet to come. I wish we could have alittle colder weather. But I do live in the sunshine state.
Your birdies are so cute. Love the picture with the one flying in.

I would be a really big baby if our high was only going to reach 10*. Brrrr!

Well, our impatience for snow is finally paying off, I guess. It's supposed to hit us here in Iowa later today.

Holy moly! We're going to cool off here on the Central Coast of California, where it has also been unseasonably warm, too. Thank God, we will not be getting that cold!

Rain, we need rain - pray for rain for us - it'll bring rain and snow for you all!

Be blessed!

What good shots of the Goldfinches and the heated dish. They must be pleased as punch to find water in the winter in MN. Our weather has been so fickled this year too. Up and down. From 52 to 10 degrees in 3 days is pretty darn fickled too.
I loved Tuesday's shades of brown.
I was by very early yesterday I must have missed the new post.
Hugs to you all

Those bird pictures are great as usual! I love watching wild birds and loved it when we were able to feed them in the backyard. We feed them in the front yard now because our critters would love to have them for dinner. Lol. I also have another Liebster blog award for you! I have enjoyed getting to know you and have always loved your posts!

Brrrrr! We were at 60 today. It will drop tonight, but only for a few days. I cleaned my bird baths and filled the bird feeders Sunday. I usually do not have a lot of birds during the winter, but my trees are full these warm days. Hugs!
