It Happened!

We spent many days
of this last week below zero.
Yesterday,
we had a heat wave.
Trust me, it feels warm
compared to what we've had.

It was so warm, in fact,
we had a nice treat!

Just a couple of inches,
but it sure was beautiful.
I like to call it,
God's blanket of purity for the earth.

Good Morning Jill,
It looks nice with snow, it brightens up things doesn't it?! Glad to hear you've got some warm temps. Have a lovely Saturday! Hugs from Dublin x

How gorgeous. You asked for snow and you surely got some. I little late since it would have been nice for Christmas, but like they say better late than never.
I would have loved to be their to see and to play in the snow.
TFS.
Happy weekend.

Awww....I miss those snows/days! Te little kids keep asking me when it is going to snow here in Georgia....they just don't have a grasp on the fact that winter here is 50's....no snow....

Odd, isn't it, how we can't get snow when it's so cold? Beautiful pictures to start my day! :)

Yay, you got more snow. : ).. You would think that lower temps would make it snow too, but I guess not. Brrr on your warmer temp picture too!

I must admit, it is lovely this morning, all white. The birds at the feeders are going crazy and providing me with great shots against the snow. Have a great weekend Jill!

I love the "snowing" photos.

And your "heat wave" reminds me of a time when I lived in the Boston area - we had two weeks straight, when the high never got above zero. The HIGH. And then when the cold spell broke, temps in the teens felt nearly warm enough to go without a coat!

I can't even imagine temps below 0. I've been cold today and it was in the 50's! your pictures are pretty, but I'm glad I'm not having to deal with your conditions.

I am wanting snow soooo bad! Your photos make me envious! We've had virtually none here in my town this year! It just doesn't feel like winter without at least one snow!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful snow photos!
