Angles We Have Heard on High

Another love of mine
are angels.
I keep my
Willow Tree collection
out all year but move them around for Christmas.

Of course,
I had to make an angel tree this year.
Many of our angel ornaments and white tulle
complete this mini tree.

The Christmas before my Mom died,
she bought me the starter pieces to
the Nativity Set.  You have no idea
how much I cherish it.
Thanks to my sister
and sister in law,
I now have the complete set.

My Mom brought me this
Nativity from Mexico
many years ago.
It's all very fragile but
has held up very well
and I love the blues.

These are some of my treasures.
What are some of yours?

Cute treasures! I have one of those Willow tree figures that was given to me for being a bridesmaid. But just the one.
I like the nativity from Mexico!

Jill I love your nativity from your Mom I understand that. I have an artificial Christmas tree from my Dad that I cannot get rid of. I have all the little ornaments my kids made it is hard to get rid of the memories surrounding them so I will be holding on to them. I love your angels Jill. It must be beautiful at your house I have not done one Christmas thing. B

Your nativity scenes are both different and both beautiful and I know how much you cherish them because of your mother.

My mom was a real crafty artsy person and she made almost every Christmas decorations I have - and I cherish them for the same reason.

Very pretty Christmas decorations - I really like your glitter balls and the traditional Nativity set, I have one of my own - someplace. My favorite Christmas treasures are the ones that my children made for me when they were in school.

I love both of your Nativity scenes, Jill! The one from your mom will always be special, and the blue one is incredible! Each room in my home has its own Nativity, too.

Love the Angel tree! I took all of the Angels off of my main tree yesterday and to make an Angel tree, too! Yours are beautiful!

I love decorating for the holidays and enjoy watching someone else who does, too!

Thank you for sharing!
Blessings,
Donna

Jill what a beautiful post....your angel collection and Navitity sets are beautiful with such memories.

For the last 41 years there have have always been and will continue to be two special ornaments on our tree. One was a wedding gift it is a bride in an what looks like an eggshell. Very intricate and the other was a decoration on a baby shower gift. It is a baby wrapped in a blanet. They are both always front and center!!

I love your Willow Tree Collection. I had one friend who gave me a Willow Tree figurine for Christmas. We lost our friend shortly after that, so the angel is definitely one of my treasured items. Hope you are doing well, still wishing you comfort and peace.
