Got a Minute?

OK.  Here's the truth.
My son is home.
Picked him up on Monday.
LOVE having him home.
However,
I don't have a minute to myself!
Hence, the quick and not so
pretty post earlier wishing you a
Happy Thanksgiving.

I did get a pie in the oven this morning.
I only ran into TJ 16 times
in the process.

I tried to catch up on blogs,
but kept having to help
him wrap his gift for his Dad.

We've done crafts.
Wow, have we done crafts.
No time for pictures.
Becky gets home at 2:30.

Right now,
he's out collecting pine cones.
He wants to make a wreath
out of them them.
I've got another pie to make.

I managed to get the cranberries done.
I am pretty sure they set up fine.
I only had to maneuver around
TJ 28 times while
he got his coffee.
Not bad!

More crafts when Becky gets home this
afternoon.
Frantic?
Do I sound frantic?
Nah,
it's just my kids and I.
I still try to go all out though.

Wait?  What was I saying?'
TJ just called out from the yard.
Sounds like he needs help.
The cat is BANGING
on the bedroom door...
he wants out of the bedroom.
Max has to go out, hang on a second.
Gotta decorate for Christmas tomorrow
night.
Phone call.
Hang on.
Thank goodness
I'm not a busy person.
I used to be organized.
Really, I did.
Like my friend said to me on Monday...
"You haven't done you're shopping yet?
You usually have the turkey in the oven by now!"
Aint' happenin' this year.
Be glad you're not joining us.
Who knows what you'd find!

OK.  Break is over.
I gotta go!

Bless every ONE of you
for being here.
I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

It sounds nice anyway. I hope you have a lovely day, see I need to be in the kitchen cooking instead of getting caught up on blogs. :)

Whether it's 1, 2 or 100, seems preparing the Thanksgiving meal is hectic.

I vote for pizza next year! :)

Hope you enjoy the holiday with your chilluns', Jill. xoxo

I know your house is hectic at the moment and I know you are busy, busy

You will wear yourself out otherwise!

I can totally understand the short post before! Lol. There is sooo much to do, so much stuff going on and a whole lot of friends and family around. Chaos at it's best, I hope that you all are able to take a moment after that and reap the rewards! : ).. I wish you a peaceful, rewarding Happy Thanksgiving and all the rest of the days to follow.

I bet it was wonderful regardless! Actually, one of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was when my family came to visit me in college. Since I was young and had a small apartment, they decided not to stress me out and wouldn't even let me think about cooking. Instead, we just all went to Cracker Barrel - and they actually have a decent Thanksgiving meal there, complete with pumpkin pie of course! :-)
