I am feeling really
right now.

I have been blogging
for a little over a year
Of course,
when I began,
I had to set up the
required gmail account.

I never went back
to it.
I didn't think
I needed to.
Until tonight.
For some odd reason,
I thought I'd see if
I could get into it.

And what did I find?
285 messages!
ALL from my blogger friends!
I bet you all thought
I was being really
rude by not acknowledging
any of them!
I'm sorry!
I wasn't rude.
I was dumb!

So please...
with sugar on top...

I've read through
most of them and thank you
all for your sweetness.
A few,
I need to go back to
and follow up on them.
get to them!

My face is red!

If we didn't mess up once in a while - wouldn't life be boring? I screw up quite frequently, and I am seldom bored.

Every day I learn something new about blogging and one thing I've learned along the way is that bloggers are a wonderfully forgiving bunch!

That sounds like something I'd do, Jill. I don't check mine often - thankfully, if I have a new message, it shows up on the icon on my cell phone for that account.
Sorry I haven't visited lately - a little issue called Irene....

LOL! I get overwhelmed when google reader goes over 100 "need to read" items. Cannot imagine what over 200 emails would do to you! :)

284 messages is a lot to deal with! I think you are forgiven, it was a honest mistake. Your blogger friends know you are a dedicated friend. Not dumb, just busy.

haha:) what's worse, hoping for emails and having an empty inbox, or 285 unexpected?
yeah, i know the pain of digging out of emails. but still, those emails are like notes of friendship and that's cool:)

Been there, done that!! I too didn't check my gmail account for a long time and didn't realize people replied to comments that way. I will admit I felt really "dumb", but "live and learn" I always say. I didn't have quite so many "replies" when I finally discovered my mistake. Nice to have a "companion" to share that "red face". Have a lovely weekend, Jill. Mickie :)

There always seems to be something new we didn't realise about blogging. I guess most of us just jump into a blog and muddle our way through, especially at first.
