A Simple Saturday

It's a bit humid.
A bit sunny.
And a bit rainy today.
Storms are moving in
for later.

A good day for getting
rid of all of those bananas in the freezer
and baking some
Banana Bread.

Rhubarb needed to be picked.

Which demanded
I make some
Rhubarb Bread.

All tucked away in the freezer now
ready for camping.

If rhubarb bread is as good as rhubarb pie, I'll have a loaf. I thought it was red ???

You were brave to heat up the kitchen, but looks like it was worth it. Hope they last until camping.

I had some bananna's that needed to be made into bread. So I made 3 loaves.. Gave one to my daughter and froze one and we are eating on the other one. Yum Yum. I love this bread and we ate it while it was still hot with lots of butter.
Never heard of rhubarb bread.. I'll bet that is good~!
Have a Blessed Day~! ta ta for now from Iowa:)

I don't even think I've had rhubarb anyway but I would try it. I guess we eat whatever we grew up with. It all looks good.
