A Confession and a Thank You!

You might be wondering
what the topics
could have in common.

I'll fill you in
and you will
understand.

I was chatting with a good friend
the other day and relaying to her
some information
I heard on a radio station.
Once a week,
they air a program on nutrition
and I've really come to enjoy it.

The weeks topic
was how when we age,
we all tend to lose some memory.
Some of us, more than others.
I told her they advised
taking Magnesium.

At that point,
I confessed to her
(and now to you)
that I was anxious to try it.
My problem?
I kept forgetting to buy
some every time I was at a store!

Friend to the rescue!

While at Target,
she remembered my plight
and bought me a bottle
of it!
Now that's a good friend!

Now...
I just need someone
to remind me to take it!

She certainly is a good friend! Taking vitamins is a habit, one of those things you have to get into the swing of. It helps to take it at a set time I think, and it's useful to have it near the fridge, so you can easily down one after dinner :)

That's a good friend!

Another really great one for memory is B-12. I did a whole paper on it when I was taking Human Memory for my masters. If you remember (ha ha) to pick some up, get the sublingual kind.

Jill you are too funny. You definitely made me laugh.
I need to get some myself. I am forgetting everything myself. They say that happens when you have a hysterectomy done, which I did 2 years ago (total hysterectomy). I need to learn my new hone and how to add alerts to ti to remind me when I go to the grocery store to buy it. TFS. Have a great weekend and don't forget to take your magnesium. ana

Dear Jill, I think I will try that too. It seems like I might be in need of that too.
I think stress has a lot to do with memory.
Blessings dearest and hugs, Catherine xoxo

Wait until you get my age and have to take several pills in a certain way at a certain time. You'll get the habit down pat soon.
