Really?

I'm about to divulge a secret
to all of you.
My sister is the writer
in the family.
I keep encouraging her
to start a blog but
she's too busy.

At any rate,
I'm happy to share something
very poetic she wrote this week:

"For two nights nocturnal snow has covered the earth in a blanket of white, only to melt away in the warmth of struggling spring."

Rest assured, I gave her great props for
this beautiful observation
and the lovely way she put
that observation into words.

However,
after spending the day inside (again)
because of this (AGAIN):

You can't tell it from these photos,

But it's been another day of snow and
sleet
and more sleet!

And I admit,
I'm a little testy over it.

And I ask you all,
in my most poetic voice,

"What the HECK happened to spring?"

Ok.  I feel better now.
Carry on.

Only seen snow once in my life here in India. So in my opinion you are lucky to see and feel it :-)

We put up with a lot in the Great Lakes and Midwest but I think we have the most spectacular summer sunsets in the world. We have the most lush green forests with sparkling clear steams and waterfalls, and beautiful beaches. Cool summer nights and clear starry skies.
I am not going to let this rotten stinking poopy weather get me down!!!

Your sister has a lovely way with words - I wish I could write like that!
The weather sure is doing some strange things isn't it. Hopefully it will get back to normal soon.
Stay warm and dry - best place to be is in the house when the weather is like that.

Okay now that is just good writing! AND - this snow is very frustrating for someone that lives to garden. (me)

Jill, it made me cold looking at your pics. I hope spring arrives for you soon! I know you're ready for that snow to go! Wish we could have taken a little off your hands (earlier in the year that is). :)

Your sister is a talented writer. I agree she should start a blog!

Have a wonderful day!
Tammy

A wintry mix is in the future for us on Thursday, but it won't hang around long. Spring will come -- we just have to patient I guess. :)

Dear Jill, Spring is taking her time here too. The weather seems to tease a bit. One day quite nice but very windy. The next day cold. Blessings,Catherine xo

Dear Jill, p.s. I hope your sister finds the time for a blog. It is time consuming but fun. She would very much enjoy it. Blessings, Catherine xo
