I'm a Wimp...

I was set to go,
waiting in the car
with my girl,
waiting for her bus.

There she goes...

so off I went.

15 minutes to go one mile.
With a 25 mile trip one way,
I turned around and came home.

I relinquish my badge
as a true
Minnesota Girl.

But just for today.

OMg, I can't believe that is your weather while here in Miami it is almost 90 degrees. Weird. I thought it was supposed to be Spring?
Hope you are having a nice cup of hot chocolate and relaxing with a warm blanket.

Only one mile to go? Lol -- I don't think your heart was in it from mile one. Looks like a good day to call in to me -- you deserve it. xo

I think you are wise. Here in Montreal we are expecting some snow tonight and tomorrow. I got some food in the house today and don't plan on going out tomorrow unless I really have to.

I hope spring comes for you soon.

Good for you to not take a chance.

Well this Arkansas girl wouldn't have lasted no time in that. :) Our schools close down with an inch on the ground. lol!

Your follower button wasn't showing up for me...I'll be back to try again! And for some reason, my dashboard isn't letting me either. :(

Blessings,
Tammy

Dang! We would have been shut down around here! Good decision!

OMG.. it's tough to send the kids off in this kind of weather. My neighbor used to live in your neck of the woods and she tells me crazy stories about the weather. I don't know how you manage!

You'renot a wimp. You're smart! I always get upset when there are weather related accidents. I believe only true emergencies should be out in weather like that! Good day to snuggle up with a book.
