Drive By

Since I'm single,
I spend most of my time
doing the driving.

I've always wanted to capture
this barn but
due to traffic,
it's been impossible,
until now.
I got the chance to ride
by and take a couple of shots.

I adore the rich, deep red.

I especially like it at Christmas,
when each and every window
has a lit candle shining from within.

It's not a working barn
any longer
but I think
it's a real beauty.

(Am I the only one unable to customize my blogger template)?

It's a beautiful barn!! I would love to see it at Christmas. If it's not a working barn - and there are lights at Christmas - then it is still a beloved barn to some people!

I love red barns...and I love all your pictures.
What do you mean by customize..the size of the pictures? As you probably know, I've had the SAME template since June 2009...lol
I'm afraid to change it for fear of messing something up. LOL

Maybe you need to stop and ask to take pics of the inside! It's a beauty indeed.

Oh, what a gorgeous old red barn. I'm glad it's loved enough that the owners put candles in the windows at Christmas. It's really pretty with the snow.

That is a nice barn - I really like those lovely windows and I can imagine it looks really festive at Christmastime.
And no, I don't do any changes to my blog at all for fear of wrecking it :))

I love the barn. I'm glad the people care enough to keep it standing, and put lights in it, even though they don't use it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I don't know anything about template. I've had the same one forever because I'm afraid to try to change it. I don't like the new blogger stuff so I figure if I try it I'll mess it up.

Barns seem to capture so much in their simple structure: history, country living, hard work, caring for animals, and more. They make me feel like the world's all right :)

I do love RED barns and I bet it's spectacular with candles in every window.

I haven't changed my template in a very long time. It seems like Blogger is making things harder instead of easier! Hmmm.
