Getaway

In spite of it all,
we went away for
a long weekend.
Just what we needed.

We played miniature golf
with the pirates.
( I won)!

We shopped
the Crazy Dayz
sales at
a nearby town.
(My kids spent more
than I did)!

The final day,
it was time to
visit
Paul.
As in
Bunyan.
Somethings,
you just never outgrow.

Here's the crew at
the start of the day:

Being silly!

They went on many rides.
I know not to even try taking
shots of that with my little
point and shoot!

Then is was on
to
The Pioneer Village,
where I gave thanks

I don't have to do
laundry like this!

And my kids gave thanks

their schools days
weren't like this.

Then it was time.
MY TIME!

I locked 'em up and...

and tossed away the key and....

and took a little
"me time."

Hey...a girl can dream!

The road home.

Update on Becky:
She will have an MRI on Thursday.
Thank you ALL
for caring and praying.

A break in everyday life is rewarding. It's also a law to take a few once in a while.

Looks like you all had a great time. Those are the best. I am thankful I don't have to do laundry that way either. Laundry is my favorite chore, but probably would not be if I had to do that way. I will keep Becky in my Prayers that everything goes well and I will also Pray for you to give you strength through these times.

Bet you're in love with that ole country guy now and forgetting about John Deere. Will be thinking of Becky and you on Thursday as I travel to San Antonio to take John to a doctor to have pre-cancers removed off his face.

Very fun shots:) I like them all. My my....Paul is one giant man. Such a beautiful place. Can you get over the school days of past?? I walk into those old school houses and just think about what it would be like to teach in a place like that....incredible.
