Season of Changes

Spirea in full bloom

Spring days
blooms opening
new surprises daily
thunder and lightning
birds chirping

Spring nights
gentle breezes
frogs singing in concert
soft whispers
breezes

Parties
practices, meetings, appointments
excitement
anxiety
laughter
tears
anticipation

Visitors
road trips
too much thinking
planning
shopping
celebrating.

Changes

And with it all going on, we don't realize how quickly it all passes. Hope you have some moments to stop and smile:) I wish I could slow it all down, but Father Time doesn't listen to me:) Have a fun Wednesday! Last day of school for me! I'm stalling to grade the last of the final exams!

Jill, I do hope you occasionally submit your poetry to contests. Poets & Writers Magazine publishes all contests, awards & grants - many for poets. Find it here: http://www.pw.org/grants

sooo pretty jill, now this belongs in a book!!

you will miss it all, when it's gone....but not TOO much!!

oh jill, i forgot to say that some of us are (cough) older, our vision is not what it use to be. the print on this is so small and pretty, but a lil difficult for me to read!!

I am glad Debbie mentioned the small print. It is hard on my trifocals.

I really like the verse. It is so true, hard to make time for everything.

Hey Jill. Is this what your life has been like? Gosh I hope I don't have to go through all those things at once anymore. Hope you are getting lots of rest for days like these. You must be dead when night time comes. But at then end it is all well worth it for the kids.
Hope your days ahead are alittle easier.

Wohoo...spring has finally arrived in Ireland with it's warmth. Didn't think it would happen this year since it's been very cold. I love spring...when everything comes to life again..including the people. Have a lovely day!

Busy times, for sure. Love the spirea - mine are pink, but my mom had white ones.

Love the poetry it's so true but also seemed a little sad! Life is passing us by unless we engage with it....as you seem to do! Joan
