Bam! It's Monday!

I had a very busy,
very fun weekend,
thanks to my sister.

I'm sorry I haven't made it around
to catch up with everyone.
I'm going to be working on that.

My phone rang at 7:40 this morning.
It was school.
I was supposed to be at a meeting
at 7:30 today
and I forgot!
So off I went sans
makeup, an ugly ponytail and
a red face!
In all these years,
I've always been the first one there
and have never forgotten a meeting.
Bam! It's Monday alright!

I hope all of you ladies
had a wonderful
Mother's Day!

Friday,
I was out mowing
when a pretty butterfly
started flitting all around me.
I slowed the mower and sat
still and so did it.

I've been unable to
identify it so far
but perhaps one of you
can tell me what it is.

For now,
I'm just calling it a
beautiful butterfly.

Sorry for the glare.

I've never seen one of these before
and am so delighted.
I observed a lot of
baby Red Admirals this
weekend.
So fun!

Hope you've seen something
to make your heart sing.

I'm going to guess (lol) a monarch butterfly, but what do I know?
Girl you did have a busy week.
And I hate going out without make-up too.

I think this is a Tiger Swallowtail. Very pretty! Hope your week slows down some. Take care.

What a lovely surprise and so pretty too! I do not know my butterflies either. Beautifipul works for me!
Oh I know how prompt you like to be but one time is allowed
Hugs madi and mom

Pretty butterfly, and I'm glad there are others more educated than I as to what species it is.

Butterflies are always so peaceful for me, and a great reminder others are with us.
Hope your Mothers Day was a relaxing one.
Hugs sweetie

Oh Jill. Sometimes these things happen. We over sleep or just forget. We are human after all. Atleast you were still able to attend.
Hope tomorrow is a better day for you with make up and all.

What a lovely butterfly. Think I've seen ones like it in Florida. I don't know the name though, sorry...

Enjoy the rest of your week Jill

I've seen some small swallotails around, but none as large as this yet! Sorry you were late for you meeting, but I think you are allowed one every few years.

What a beginning to your week, Jill! Great photo of the beautiful butterfly! I agree that it's probably a tiger swallowtail. Hope the rest of your week goes well!

So glad your week-end was a nice one. Mine was too and the thing that made my heart sing was seeing a very young baby fawn with it's Mom close by watching us watch it.

Eeek that sounds kind of early for a meeting.
That is a very beautiful butterfly - I've not seen many around these parts yet. Early yet I suppose.
So glad you had a good Mother's Day.
