Brrrrr....

Luckily,
this pretty is
inside.

Chances are, it wouldn't  have
lasted through the night.
Like many areas of the country,
it's darn cold here
with frost two nights in a row.

It's a little hard to swallow
after being spoiled by unseasonably
warm weather.
There's a chance of thunderstroms
Saturday, Prom Day but at least
it's supposed to be warmer...
by about 25-30 degrees.

I don't have enough sheets
and/or towels
to cover everything so I
just hope for the best.

Hope it's warmer wherever you are!

Kind of funny and very changeable weather here in England,Jill, but that is normal for this time of year. Magnolias ending now whereas they should only just be coming out, though, which feels weird.

Hey Jill, This weather is really all screwed up. I don't understand it. I can't believe it is almost mid April and still cold. We have very warm weather here in Florida, but at night and mornings it can be chilly. Well Chilly for us.
Your rose is beautiful. Lets hope this weather gets better soon.

Oh boy do I feel your frustration. Thank goodness the pink beauty is inside. We're expecting 34 here tonight and for April in NC that is just plain odd!!
At least prom weekend will be nicer 'cause I'm pretty dang sure Becky will NOT want to wear a coat over her beautiful dress.

Ditto here! I just took an early morning run to survey our damage. It's like Mother Nature said, "Oh, my! I forgot all about giving you winter. Here. How's this?"

Hope they didn't freeze!

Expecting our freeze tonight. Suppose that will really affect the fruit already set. On tomato made it through last night...

Hi Jill, It's cold here too, as it should be in April. I do have some frost damage on my hydrangea, but they should recover. I hope your sweet girl has a shawl for prom night.Love, Penny

Oh it's warm here for sure:) Glad you protected this beauty. Nice macro with the water drops. The roses right now are just getting started here as well. Protect your plants:)

What a beautiful rose!

Oh Jill,

This is a beautiful rose! We have supposedly had our last frost, so we've unwrapped once again. My Sweetie has wrapped and unwrapped, I can't count the number of times this year! Hopefully we're finished this time.

But, don't blame you for trying to save this beauty!

Your photos are so pretty! My 9 year old granddaughter just asked me if you were a professional photographer, Jill!

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Donna

Comfy here with 80 degree days and 60 degree nights. Your rose is pretty. My one bush has been blooming it's heart out and has only one rose left right now.

Such a pretty rose. The temperature got cooler here too after being spoiled by some very nice weather. It is raining and windy today but it will warm up again soon. I can't wait to see pictures of your daughter all dressed up for prom. She must be so excited.

Danielle
