Crafty Birdhouses

During Becky's spring break,
we did get a little crafting done.
I had purchased these two wooden
birdhouses some months back.
I didn't really have any specific plans
when I bought them but knew they'd be cute
"all done up."

Becky grabbed the paint and away she went
(my kids still love to make everything "rainbow").

I, on the other hand,
like to see what I can do with
nature's "litter."
I have oodles of pine cones laying around
and thought I'd put some to good use.
The roof is sticks,
the rest are pieces of pine cones.

Kind of fun, if you're looking for something to do.

**I seem to have everyone confused on the paint.
Becky's room is BEET.
The bathroom is Violet Smoke.
I'm sure no one really cares
but I hate when I confuse people.
Sorry!

Oh I'm inspired now! Love both but yours is so original. Reminds me a have a whole pile of sea shells....hmmmm wonder if the birds would like a beach house? We have lots of birds!

I wasn't confused about the painting-realized it was two different colors, love a mixture of colors. As long as your sweetie is happy is all that matters...lol

What a cute project and they will look so cute hung in a tree for prospective "renters" that may make a home in them. Hope you are having a great day!

Love different kinds of bird houses. Both of you decorated your's nicely. Been missing your entries as I've been without internet for several days. Really bad weather but the three tornadoes were in another town.

Both of these bird houses are beautiful - and different! Becky is a colorful girl, isn't she? And, not a bit shy of using them, whether on her birdhouse or her bedroom walls!

Love the one with sticks and pine cone pieces. This looks like a great craft with my grand kids!

Thanks for sharing, Jill!

Blessings,
Donna
