Who Goes There?

It comes to no surprise
to anyone that I am not a fan
of these critters.
They eat too much bird food
and cause way to much
damage around here.

However,
I can admit to the fact that they
are cute!

I present the following evidence:

Sneaking the suet droppings
from above.

"Mm mm...this is what I'm talkin' about!"

Can you see his tail blowing?
The winds were frantic and I
have expected him to be blown right off the deck.

Good thing he's got that tale for balance!

I always thought they were kinda cute, but then I haven't had any bird feeders here in Florida.

I sure think they're cute ;-)

I noticed you have a new search box on your side bar! yay! Although I realized (too late) that there is one on the google tool bar (duh).

I saw one on the street yesterday as flat as a pancake. If they would keep going when they cross the street but they always change their mind and then a car hits them when they run back.

Cute pictures! I have to admit that I look at squirrels a bit differently after finding the baby squirrel a few months ago!

Ever since I found a truly squirrel-proof bird feeder I enjoy the squirrels a lot more! We have a family of black squirrels in our yard, which are truly beautiful to watch. One can't help but feel sorry for them in the winter. I always wonder why they don't hibernate like some of the other mammals - it's a tough way to live! I know I sure want to hibernate these days ;)

We aren't fond of them either...not only are they food hounds they actually chew on our deck and while they are doing it they shake their busy tails in my face.

Squirrels are everywhere in Oklahoma...including our backyard! Our doggie (yorkie) Mollie loves to chance them. She almost caught one once and I promise you I thought the little thing (the squirrel) would fall dead from fright before he got up that tree!

I found the sofa I'm yapping about on Craig's List. Can you imagine $2,500 for a couch? NOPE! NAUTA! NO WAY! But 1/3 of that and NO TAX is great!

And you know I am crazy about my squirrels. I am so glad you can appreciate how cute they are. We are having such a mild winter thus far, they think it is spring in my backyard. Hugs. Hope you have a terrific weekend!

What a cutie - and well captured. I like squirrels, but the ones we have in Sweden is a lot smaller and darker brown. You rarely see them though. Enjoy your weekend! Hugs x

haha...I am also not a fan, but am guilty of taking photos of them too. You do have to give them credit for their clever inginuity.

I have to get my squirrel fixes between you and T -- no squirrels here, which is really weird, but true!

I found one sitting on the steering wheel of our riding lawn mower the other morning. Lol. He was perched there, just relaxing. Until I tried to get closer to get a picture. I got one from too far away with the iphone. Lol. I really need to carry our Sony with me. : ).
