A Pathetic Post

OK, confession time.
I've got nothin' today.
Nothin' exciting anyway.
So so photos of the following:

Many of you have been enjoying the moon
and have much better photos of it than I do.
But here it is anyway!

Couple of photos of this female
Downy at the feeder.

She seems happy.

Then we have this varmint waiting in the wings
(no pun intended) to try to capture some
of the bird food.  He thinks I don't see him.
Boy, was he wrong!

You don't need photos of my weekend
of running errands or being a total bum yesterday.

Today is just one of those days.
Mundane, boring, life's duties taking over.
Another
Monday.
 I'm really not dissin' Monday's.
Even though they are pretty ordinary.
I guess they can be unique
and exciting.
Some people think so.

Hmmm...guess I'll get off of here now
and see if I can go shake things up.

Any plans for your Monday?

No plans for me, just kicking back and reading my book as it's going to be a rainy day down here.

Livie and I have been enjoying watching the moon get full.

I'll have to show her your squirrel photos when she gets home from school.

The moon has been gorgeous hasn't it?

Not much new here either . . . my volunteer day begins again this afternoon after a break during the holidays.

This the "day after the fair . . ." time of the year. If you're from Iowa/Minnesota you might know what I mean. The fair, (Holidays) are over, we won the blue ribbon, (family, friends, food, fun) and now a bit of a let down until we rev it up again.) Thus . . . "The day after the fair . . ." feelings.

well Jill, mondays for me are very overwhelming. I clean 3 bathrooms (even though 2 never get used ), clean 6 bedrooms, iron all and I mean all of my husbands and my clothes (not underwears or socks) and mop the floor to the whole entire house. So mondays are definteily not my favorite day either. I clean furniture on tuesdays if I don't get to them on monday.
I try to do some crafting but by the time I finish I am exhausted. But today I am trying to take it easy. I have been with a massive headache since yesterday. Though I did iron already and cleaned the kitchen and wiped down two of the bathrooms.

awe jill, sometimes boring is good!! i took pictures of the moon saturday night and they came out like crap. the plan was to take more last night but i was at mom's till 6 p.m. and then forgot. i am going to try taking them earlier, you should as well, just as it is starting to get dark. i think people who are getting the awesome shots have better lenses then we do.

you should scrap today, that always makes me happy, it always brings me joy!!

i have 205 emails to reply to, some wonderful ones from you that i have read but not replied to. they are all so special, thoughtful and kind!!

make it a great day gf!!

oooohhhh and i forgot to say, (as if i did not say enough), i no longer like scrappy pink corner, if my husband ever read what she does in a day.....well it's downright shamefull. she must wear a "cape" or something. is all that shit even possible in one day??

The downy bird is pretty cool! :)

My plans for this Monday? To be sane. To stay sane. To be.

The moon was so gorgeous last night. Isn't it neat that we can live in two different parts of the country but we still enjoy the same view of the moon. Just got through my first workout of 2012. Whew! I need to get in shape. I feel like flopping back to bed.

xo,
Danielle

mondays are just plain ol back to work days around here. Have been loving the full moon - watched it for 1.5 hours on a car ride last night! And, I agree with Debbie - Scrappin' always lifts my spirits!

So cloudy here, couldn't see the moon, let alone capture it.

I don't have much going on, myself - just my usual 'Sharon' ho, hum.

I hope your day perks up - that is, IF you want it to!

I always like your entries and I like Mondays even though I usually have lots of housework to do. We're having a nice drizzle too which we will take all the rain we can get.

Today is a reminder of the song: "Rainy Days and Mondays". Rainy, cold, icky today. But tonight, hubby & I are going out for $5 Cheeseburgers, so I'm happy!

Mondays can be like that. We had an unexpected trip to the pedi's office for a wheezy little boy :-( He's taking his nap now, and will hopefully wake up feeling better.

I m not the only Monday person that dislikes them. Someone should start a Blue Monday theme.
Lovely photos. Birds are always a good way of picking me up .

You may be having a so so day but I love the pictures of your wildlife. We don't get anything like that here so thanks for sharing.
My monday was pretty so so as well. Didn't sleep terribly well last night so I'm very tired today. Can't be bothered doing anything at all - but that could just be me being lazy :)))

Dark and dreary here in Ontario so your photos of the woodpecker and squirrel are way, WAY more exciting than I see out my window. :))

Tried to get all the paperwork done today.....tomorrow it's grocery shopping and blah, blah, blah...ha

I love your pictures but I would have knocked on the window or yelled at the squirrel...ha I get so tired of them eating EVERYTHING and leaving none for the birds!

The last post I read is that she felt it was a snails kind of day - you sound like that too. My kids are back in school - so I had a little less stress today! HAHA

I'm a bit late to your party -- but Monday was a creative day for me. I'll post about it a little later. I knew you would have a moon shot for us -- I know how much you love a full moon. :)

I do love your moon pictures, as well as your birds. : ).. I only wish that I had my camera with me tonight, our moon was HUGE, reddish orange and close to the horizon on my way home. By the time that I got here, it was normal sized and up where it usually was. Lol.
