A White Christmas!

Well, sort of.
Since there is still
NO snow in MN,
a trip to a local
nursery was called for.

They, at least,
provided some white.
Almost like they
knew we wouldn't have any snow!

In any case, here is some of what I saw:

Several white trees...

adorned with colorful ornaments
and garlands...

This intriguing hand blown ornament...

And the reason I go to this nursery every year...
these gorgeous poinsettias!

Yes.  They are real!

White usually isn't my favorite
but I sure am drawn to it this year.
If the white stuff won't come to me,
then I'll just have to go find it myself!

I am missing the white big time. I have candle luminaries outdoors and have the candle sitting inside clear canning jars on a bed of Epson Salts. I spilled some of the Epson Salt on the black dirt and thought . . . . hmmmm . . . white . . .

So we have white . . . . . in one tiny spot of black near the front of the house.

WHERE IS THE SNOW . . . .?

Beautiful! I lean towards white too because we never have snow here!

I like the white too....I am even kind of digging the white Christmas tree! My mom is bummed to that there isn't snow - she hasn't been home for Christmas is so long....and now she is having a brown one!

So very pretty Jill!... we had a little skiff of snow but it is almost gone now... and our state's slogan is "the greatest snow on earth"... there is plenty in our mountains though, and I am actually loving no snow in the valley... the poinsettias are so pretty... did you get a red one or the white one?... xoxo Julie Marie

Beautiful poinsettias. Love the white ones. They are gorgeous. I wish we had flowers that beautiful here in Miami, FL.
Love those trees. I like the white trees and the colored ornaments.
