The Round Barn

Not far from here,
is the most
wonderful
round barn.

It's no longer home
to any farm
animals,
yet it calls
you inward,
none the less.

A very welcoming
entry way,
decorated for the season.

Inside,
waiting...
the most beautiful wares.

You see?
I am not alone in dreaming
of that white Christmas.

Many windows like this,
each with a different song.

A tree made all from
tissue paper
and decorated with
paper ornaments.

While I left with nothing,
(too expensive for me)
it was a true
delight to the
senses.

The round barn brings back memories to me of a round barn not far from where I was born in Wisconsin. I wonder if it still exists?
Thank you for the visit and for memories . . .

Window shopping, store looking is the best way to go for inspiration of the season. I like the old bike in front of the barn, and the berries in the display…

I have missed so much with blogging. Your new page was a nother surprise for me. I have missed you too. That was sweet for you to say on my blog, thank you.

Jill that is an awesome barn there is something about a round barn that makes my heart skip a beat. It is probably because I have never really seen one and they are so cool.

When Marshall was little, when we went in a shop (similar to what this looks like), he would say: "we're gonna be in here a LONG time. I can tell by the way it smells!"
