Thanks so Much!

Thank you so much to
Debbie
at
It's All About Purple

for giving me this award:

I do not feel worthy
but I appreciate it so much!

Now I have to tell you 7 things about myself that you don't know.
This is the hard part!

1)  My Mom taught me to knit, yet I don't.
2)  My Mom taught me to crochet, yet I don't.
3)  My Mom tried to teach me to play the marimba, but I don't.
4)  My Mom tried to teach me the vibraharp, but I don't.
5)  I regret not learning many things from my Mom.
6)  I did learn to play 2 songs on the guitar when
I was in high school.
They were:  A Horse With No Name
and
House of the Rising Sun.
7)  I was in many high school plays.

Now for the fun part!
I get to pass this award on to
5 more friends.
I hope you all know
that I love each and everyone of you
but I must abide by the rules.

Without further ado,
may I present to you,
my choices this time:

Danielle

Julie Marie

Lynne

Janie

Keiko

It is up to each of you as to whether or not you would like
to accept this award.
My favorite part of this whole process is getting to introduce
others to some of my favorite blogs in addition
to finding new blogs through other winners lists.

Please check out these wonderful blogs.
You won't be sorry.

Again, my deepest thanks
to
Dear Debbie.

Hi Jill... so interesting to learn more about you... thank you so much for thinking of me, but I made my blog award free... it is so hard for me to choose only a few blogs to pass awards on to... there are so many wonderful ladies out there, like you!... xoxo Julie Marie

Now that's a new twist on things about you : ) I learned the guitar in HS too. Something about "Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley" is all I remember.

Dear Jill, Congratulations! I wished that I had asked my parents more questions and just wanted to learn more at the time. At a young age one just doesn't think of these things. I know how you feel.
You are a very nice person and I am glad that our paths crossed and we are friends. Blessings for a beautiful day, Catherine xo

Congrats Jill. I love the two songs you can play. My Mom taught me a lot of things I do not do either. Oh youth is a very funny thing. B

I am so familiar with ' Yet I don't,' but you do inspire and hold hearts dear. Surly your dear Mom taught you this. Your kindness and love is explosive.

Congrats on another award - well deserved, because you are very creative!
Sounds as if your mom was a very talented person! My mom taught me to crochet when I was very young. My sister tried to teach me to knit, but I wasn't a good student!

I'm delighted to have you follow me and hopefully I can get to know you as well.

Yes, snow has been falling here on and off all day but thankfully not sticking. Not ready for that yet!

Looking forward to chatting down the road.

Congratulations! You learned to play to of my favorite songs. I can sing a "mean" House of the Rising Sun, falling on the floor laughing, seriously!

Jill, I am so behind. Then I see this post you made. What a honor for you! Yipee, you sure put the time in on your blog. Good for you to be honored. Then I read on and see my name! Wow, thank you. I am sorry I most likely will not pass it on. Not that I don't know talented bloggers. Just that I get too compulsed, it will take me hours to do, and I can't swing it now. I feel very honored, thank you SO much!
