Layers of Lovliness

I was compelely captivated
by the layers of colors
in this beautiful sunset
from Monday night.

Today,
I am listening to the John Deere
man getting my lawn tractor
converted for winter snow.
All the while,
soft, gentle,
periodic
snowflakes
are falling.
No, it's not sticking,
but it is cold
and a subtle
reminder that
 things are about to change.

Since we have very little snow is these parts, I always look forward to the winter pictures from those of you who live in snow country.

Winter sounds as if it is definately coming. However, we are amazingly mild here at the moment.

I love the pictures you have shared. Earlier this week, our highs were in the 80's. It has finally turned cooler and feels more like the holidays now. Hope you will have a very nice weekend.

Beautiful! I am so glad someone captured it. I actually made my boss (okay, he's also my brother) look at the sunset. It was glorious! Makes me sad I'm still at work when the sun is setting ;)
