Sunset

As I watch you,
I'm carried away.

Dreams surround me.
What lies beyond you?


I reach out for you,
extending my wishes as far as I'm able.



I can feel you looking back at me.
But I do not know what you are thinking.



You're calling to me now.
I can almost hear you...

You slowly fade away...
carrying my dreams with you.

    Those clouds are lovely Jill,
    here in Ireland they are grey almost black which signals that rain is due very shortly :(

    Jill,
    Sunset is giving me peace, quiet and hope. After reading the beautiful poetic words, I thought this is literally “One Time One Meeting” with this sunset. Every day, we see sunset, but the sunset which you captured is only one. We will never see the same sunset.
    The colors of the clouds are stunning!!
