Fare Thee Well (Part 1)

Summer shadows will be fading soon so I'll enjoy them today.

The last of the flowers remind me to appreciate their gift for today.

They soflty call to me, promising to be back next May.

My yard is really looking quite pitiful right now. Once Irene came through and wreaked her havoc, I haven't had the interest in my flowers that I should. Maybe because it's the end of the season....
Yours are still beautiful. And my vinca is indestructible (thank goodness!).
Have a good Tuesday, Jill!

My photography club has a monthly contest. Next month the theme is patterns. Your first picture would qualify for that. I'm still on the lookout for one!

Jill just beautiful...Your post reminds me of a verse in a song. I'm not sure this is exactly right but...'and to each season, change, change, change.'

Summer seems to have passed quite fast, mainly because we have hardly had one in England!

Fantastic photos, Jill. Tho summer is still trying to hang on here, my flowers are slowly but surely fading. Only a very few look good now. I love Fall, so I don't mind so much. Frankly, I'm tired of all the watering! Have a good day. ~Cheryl
