Icicles. Already?

OK.
Not really.
I'm playing with you
today.

But it's cold.
Temperature reads 48 degrees.
What?
What am I wearing you ask?
I will only answer that this once!
1 pair of jeans,
1 pair of socks,
1 pair of fuzzy slippers,
1 turtleneck
and 2 hoodies.
If I had fingerless gloves,
I'd have them on.
And I am still cold!

I may become
the first human icicle
known to man.

Oh wait,
I can't do that.
I'm always bragging how tough
we Minnesota girls are.

Time for some hot chocolate.
Don't even think it!
It's too early to spike it!

Fall IS here!

  1. I'm thinking we have missed autumn here, it is cold, rainy and totally miserable. I love the autumn as well. Oh well, maybe it will come later.

  9. I'm cold-natured too! I keep a pair of fuzzy footies in hubby's truck. And I've been known to wear them in the summer when the a/c is too cold!

  10. I am not ready for the damp and cold days. Maybe we could click our heels three times and make it go away. :)

  13. I would shutter to have that temperature so early on! Seems you just got over winter? If I were there I would share some hot chocolate with you. Snuggle up, stay well, and maybe the sun will appear a few more times.
